COVID-19 UPDATES

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again before entering the office.
  • You will be asked to wait in the car until one of our team members completes a quick screening and temperature check.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect, only water bottles will be available at our coffee bar.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • You will notice that all of our team members will be wearing masks at all time, in addition our clinical staff will now use surgical gowns and face shields.
  • To improve the quality of air and eliminate any bacteria, viruses and particles, we have installed an advanced Non-Ozone air disinfection system in our AC units, in addition to that you will notice Surgically clean air purifiers in the operating rooms.

We’ve made some updates!

The Medify Air MA-40 uses four levels of filtration to catch and remove allergens, pet dander, and more:

  • Pre-filter removes hair, fibers, and large particles like dander.
  • The high-efficiency H13 TRUE HEPA filter is tested to removed 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns. This medical-grade filter easily catches pollen, dust mites, and other tiny airborne particles you can’t see.
  • Substantial carbon filter with carbon pellets remove toxic odors, smoke, and formaldehyde.

HALO-LED™ Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier

The HALO-LED™ is the industry’s first LED in-duct, whole home and building air purification system that is both mercury free and zero ozone compliant. The HALO-LED™ proactively treats every cubic inch of air conditioned space, reducing airborne and surface contaminants and pollutants through bi-polar ionization and revolutionary, patent pending, REME-LED™ technology.

Medical-Grade Air Purifier

Clinical research study shows that the Surgically Clean Air JADE (SCA5000C) Air Purifier has excellent performance in Hospitals, Medical Labs and Dental Clinics to clean and sterilize the indoor air.
